DermUs Skin Care is a specialized skin care shop in Spencer, Iowa. We are located downtown, and enjoy teaching our customers to look for active ingredients that will help their skin care routine, as well as helping them choose products. Meet the Team
Robin Edwards
I am very blessed to be the owner of DermUs. I truly love what I do and the people with whom I work. In 1993, I graduated from Iowa State with my Bachelors of Science. Then I realized that there really is a job where you can play makeup all day long! So in 1999, I went back to school for esthetics training at the Aveda Institute in MN. Shortly thereafter, I opened DermUs Skin Care next to Gaul Dermatology. Without the great training, advice and watchful eye of Dr. Gaul and his staff, I never could have expanded my clinical knowledge base which has allowed me to choose the most amazing skin care products and makeup available on the market. Now DermUs has expanded to downtown Spencer and is so much more than just a few great products. DermUs truly is the leader, the original, top of the line skin care lines and service provider in northwest Iowa.
Rebecca Moran
I graduated from LaJames School of Cosmetology and am a licensed cosmetologist. I am certified in the practice of microdermabrasion. I also perform facials, body wraps, makeup applications, manicures, and pedicures. I love to help women feel beautiful from the inside out. Come and relax!
Tami Batschelet
I graduated from Faust Institute of Cosmetology. I am a member of Cosmetologists and Barbers of Iowa and a member of The Day Spa Association. I am excited to be certified in microdermabrasion. I also specialize in skin care, makeup up application, and pedicures. I love seeing someone transform before my eyes. They may come in from a bad day, or maybe never used skin care or makeup, but when they are pampered, their whole being changes. A smile on their face is my best reward.
Elizabeth Padilla
I graduated from Faust Institute of Cosmetology and I am a Licensed Aesthetician. With a growing passion for continuing education I am now certified in micro-needling, chemical peels, and Dermaplaning. I love playing a pivotal role as a licensed aesthetician in people’s lives. This allows me to help people take care of their skin and encourage them to feel better and confident.
Mary Narsi
I moved to Spencer from Arizona in 2017. She pursued her Aesthetics license from Penrose Academy in Scottsdale, AZ in 2014. She continued her education at Gemineye studio, in Sioux Falls, where she pursued her certification in Microblading and licensing in tattoo. Mary’s favorite services are Microblading and Chemical Peels. Outside of DermUs, Mary enjoys spending time with her family of 6, watching makeup tutorials and traveling. If she could only take two things on a trip (besides her kids), it would be her lipstick and mascara.
